Breaking the Silence
From the age of seven until I was nineteen, I endured years of sexual abuse at the hands of someone I thought I could trust. The trauma shaped much of my childhood and young adulthood, leaving scars that ran deeper than I could fully understand at the time. For years, silence felt like my only option — carrying the weight of pain, betrayal, and confusion in a space where I should have felt safe. It’s a reality no one should ever have to experience, yet it is one I lived with for over a decade.
But my story doesn’t end there. What once was my deepest wound has become my greatest source of strength. I choose to speak openly about my past because I know how isolating survival can feel. Today, I use my platform to advocate for other survivors, to remind them that they are not alone, and to show that healing is possible. My mission is not just to entertain, but to empower — to be the voice I once needed, and to help turn stories of pain into stories of resilience.
